As a food company, FRIUSA was classed as an essential service during the state of alarm decreed in Spain during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the uncertainty of this period, our Occupational Risk Prevention Department worked with the health authorities to implement the strictest hygiene and disinfection protocols in production and common areas, in addition to personal protection measures, such as the use of masks, safety distances, personal protection equipment, hand cleaning and training. These containment measures and protocols have been updated and adjusted as the health crisis has evolved over time, with the aim of making FRIUSA a safe place for employees and to continue servicing our customers.
